Jenni Avidon
Principal Clinical Psychologist of NorthStar Academy

With over 30 years of invaluable experience, our Clinical Psychologist and Board-Approved Supervisor, Jenni Avidon, hails from the diverse landscapes of South Africa and has seamlessly woven her wisdom into the Australian therapeutic tapestry for the past four years. Guiding and mentoring psychologists with a blend of international insights and local expertise, let Jenni be your compass to finding your true north as a psychologist.
Mylie Sell
Clinical Psychologist
MClinPsych, BPsych (Hons), MAPS
Mylie is a Clinical Psychologist and Board-Approved Supervisor who works predominantly in the field of complex trauma. She enjoys working with Twelve Step clients and adults with ADHD, addictions, eating disorders and personality disorders. Mylie uses a parts approach and is certified in Janina Fisher’s Trauma-Informed Stabilisation Treatment (TIST).
Sarah van Ree
Psychologist
BA (Psych), GradDip (Psych), MPsych (Ed & Dev)
Sarah van Ree has been a registered psychologist since 2010 and works part time for Northside Psychology as one of our Clinical Team Leads in addition to being a Clinical Supervisor (BAS) for NorthStar Academy.
Sarah has extensive experience in the field of Perinatal Anxiety and Depression. She makes use of Reflective Practise as a model of Clinical Supervision, within the modalities of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Attachment Theory and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. She aims to tailor Supervision to be collaborative, practical and reflective. Sarah offers both Group and Individual Supervision for NorthStar Academy.
She works part time for another practice as the Clinical Lead Psychologist/Quality Assurance. Sarah completed her PsyBa/AHPRA accreditation as a supervisor in 2022.
Sarah is registered with the Centre for Perinatal Grief and Loss after completing her course in 2021. In 2023, Sarah was awarded the Possums Institute 'Neuroprotective Developmental Care' scholarship to support families in rural Australia with specialised feeding, sleep, infant mental health and attachment services.
